Glidden Trade specified for prestigious Curve Theatre Project
Johns of Nottingham, a family-owned commercial painting and decorating business, recently undertook a project to paint the prestigious new Curve Theatre in Leicester. A team of decorators transformed the building into a theatrical decorating masterpiece, earning Johns of Nottingham a 'commended project' accolade at the Painting & Decorating Association's Premier Annual Trophy Competition 2009.
The Curve is a state-of-the-art theatre in Leicester designed by world renowned architect Rafael Violy and is nestled in the heart of the city's new 'Cultural Quarter'. As part of the package put forward by Johns of Nottingham during the tendering process, the company specified Glidden Trade Vinyl Matt and Glidden Trade Undercoat and High Gloss for use on the new theatre's interior walls and woodwork.
